In the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick, through the ministry of the priest, Jesus touches the sick to heal them from sin – and sometimes even from physical ailments. But even if there is no physical healing, the primary effect of the Sacrament is a spiritual healing by which the sick person receives the Holy Spirit's gift of peace and courage to deal with the difficulties that accompany serious illness or the frailty of old age.
If you or a loved one are seriously ill or facing a serious surgery, you are encouraged to receive the anointing of the sick. The Rite of Anointing tells us there is no need to wait until a person is at the point of death to receive the Sacrament; please allow time for this beautiful sacrament to be given. Please contact the parish office as soon as you are aware of the need for the Rite of Anointing.

Funerals and Burials
A funeral is more than a tribute to your loved one. It is a rite of liturgy that commends one's soul into the hands of God and allows us the opportunity to pray for them, to grieve together, and to offer the support of the parish community.
To make funeral or burial arrangements, please contact the parish office.
