Helpful Information For Your Wedding Preparations

1. Weddings at St. Joseph Church are limited to Catholics and their future spouse.

2. Wedding dates can be scheduled on Monday through Friday at any time during the morning, afternoon, and evening.  Saturday weddings are limited to the morning, or afternoon before 1:00 PM or after 6:00PM. Sunday weddings are allowed only by exception.

3. In this culture of Divorce, Father Von deeply desires your wedding to succeed. Because of this all weddings need to be arranged at least six months ahead of the wedding date in order to complete all the necessary processes to give you the tools you need for a successful marriage.

4. You will need a recent Baptismal certificate when making your wedding date reservation.

5. To help you make plans for your reception, we will gladly let you know what dates and times are open.

6. The organist usually used by the parish is:

    Denise Kelly

Soloists can be arranged by contacting the above musicians.
The costs for the musicians are determined by the musicians.  You should take care of the above financial matters on the night of your rehearsal or some time prior to the wedding.  Please remember to take care of this because it causes confusion and sometimes embarrassment to have to take care of this on your wedding day.

9. Photographers can take pictures before, during, and after the Wedding ceremony. The Church is also available for formal portraits during the week of the Wedding. Please advise your photographer to check with the Celebrant prior to the start of the Wedding to determine where the photographers will be positioned during the ceremony.

10. The Receiving Line usually takes place at the Reception Hall prior to Wedding Dinner.  If however, the receiving line is to occur at the Church, please be considerate of the Church’s schedule of religious services.
