FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH

Friday, March 7th is the First Friday of the month. We will have Adoration beginning at 8:00 AM Friday, lasting throughout the night. On Saturday morning a Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 AM. Please note that the Healing Service will be held at 8:00 PM on Friday – after Stations of the Cross.

 

Lenten Evening Prayer/Lecture: Tuesday, March 4th and 11th.

 

Stations of the Cross: Friday March 7th at 7:00 PM. On Friday, March 14th the Knights of Columbus will have Living Stations of the Cross at 6:00 PM followed by a soup supper.

 

Confessions: In addition to confession every Saturday at 2:30 PM, Father Mike will hear confessions on Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM, prior to the 7:00 PM Mass on March 6th and 13th. Father Mike will also hear confessions on Good Friday from noon to 3:00 PM.

2ND COLLECTION NEXT WEEKEND

Next weekend our parish will take up The Catholic Relief Services Collection. This collection makes possible the mission of the Catholic Church in America to combat poverty, provide relief and development, assist refugees and immigrants, and advocate for justice and peace in situations of conflict and neglect of basic human rights throughout the world. Thank you for your generous support.

 

EASTER FLOWERS/DECORATIONS ENVELOPE

If you do not receive church envelopes by mail and would like to contribute towards the Easter flowers and decorations in memory of a loved one, envelopes for this purpose can be found on the table in the Narthex. We will have an insert in the Easter bulletin listing the donors and in whose memory the donation was made.

FRIDAY FISH SUPPER

This Friday, March 7th will be the last Lenten Fish Fry this year. The Knights of Columbus begin serving at 5:30 PM in the parish hall. Cost is $7 for a full meal. Ala Carte items are available for $1 each (macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese sandwich, fries or coleslaw).

 

SQUIRES DINNER

Please come and support the Squires as they serve a Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner next Saturday, March 8th after the 4:00 PM Mass. Cost is $6 for adults and children over 12 and $4 for children under 12.

 

220 CLUB

Have you bought your ticket yet for the next 220 Club drawing which begins on Sunday, March 9th? There are only a few tickets left! MISSION DINNER THANK YOU

The Mission Dinner Committees thanks everyone who planned, cooked, served, cleaned and/or attended the Mission Dinner. We were able to send $504.00 to help support the Missions in the Dominican Republic.

 

SINGLES MINISTRY

Join other single Catholic adults on Saturday, March 8th for a prayerful Lenten experience. Worship together at the 4:00 PM Mass at St. Joseph, share a Dutch-treat meal at a local restaurant TBD, and end the evening with a dramatic multi-media presentation of the Sorrowful Mysteries performed by the Franciscan Mystery Players at 7:30 PM at St. Michael Church in Exeter.
