Registration: Registration is now under way for the 2009-2010 Religious Education program. A registration form needs to be filled out for each child. Forms can be found on the bookrack in the narthex, on our website or by calling the parish office at 679-8805.

 

Catholic School students in Grades 2 and 10 who will be receiving sacraments of First Eucharist or Confirmation must attend Religious Education classes. For more information call Lisa Dodge at 785-1357 or by email at stjosephccd@comcast.net.

 

Teachers and Assistants needed: We are in need of Religious Education teachers and assistants. Please contact Lisa Dodge by email at stjosephccd@comcast.net to volunteer or for more information. Classes will be held on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning in September.

 

ALTAR SERVERS TRAINING

All boys and girls in Grade 3 and up who would like to become an Altar Server are invited to attend the training on Sunday, July 12 at 9:00 AM. Please see Fr. Von or Linda Rajchel if you have any questions.

 

 

STEUBENVILLE RALLY

There will be a rally on Sunday, July 12th from noon until 3:00 PM for those from the parish who will be attending the Steubenville East Conference July 24-26 in Rhode Island.

 

Please keep these young people in your prayers.

 

 

Because of the July 4th holiday, the bulletin had to be sent to the printers early, therefore the results from the June 27/28 collection and the winners of the 150 Club will be included in next week’s bulletin.

 

 

MINISTRY FOR COMMUNITY CONCERNS

The committee for Community Concerns will meet this Monday, July 6th at 7:00 PM in the parish hall.

HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE

Please join Fr. Von DeRosia for a once in a lifetime pilgrimage to the Holy Land, February 1-10, 2010. This pilgrimage will be an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Jesus. The itinerary includes visits to all of the holy sites in Jerusalem, a visit to the Dead Sea, an opportunity to renew wedding vows in Cana and baptismal vows at the River Jordan, and so much more. Cost for the pilgrimage is $2547 which includes all transportation, lodging, breakfast and supper daily, air taxes, fuel surcharge, and tips. SQUIRES AT RAYMOND TOWN FAIR

There will be no Squires Dinner after the 4:00 PM Mass on Saturday, July 11th as the Squires will be selling BBQ hamburgers and drinks at the Raymond Town Fair Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 10, 11, 12. Please stop by their booth and give the Squires your support and encouragement which are truly appreciated.

 

MOTORCYCLE BLESSING

You are invited to the 11th Annual Motorcycle Blessing and local charity cookout sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. Come and join us for the special “Motorcycle Blessing” and enjoy the cookout.
